Junior ERP Functional Consultant

The Odoo Functional Consultant is responsible for improving, supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting our customers current and future enterprise resource planning systems using the Odoo software. The ideal candidate will manage Odoo continuous improvement projects, including implementation, design enhancements, system configuration opportunities, functionality, and accuracy in order to improve the utilization of all business applications. This is a job for people who are excited to work at the intersection of software and business. You’ll learn different management practices throughout a variety of industries and how OERP’s implementations and Odoo’s apps can be used to alleviate customer needs and pain points. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a"get it done" spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Performing presales activities

  • Meet with customers to review, analyze, and evaluate all aspects of their business

    operations;

  • Develop Odoo implementation plans;

  • Map customer’s business processes into Odoo's standard functionality;

  • Design, document and test new solutions or improve existing solutions;

  • Assist with the implementation of Odoo system;

  • Assist with upgrading of Odoo system;

  • Manage implementation, improvement projects, or upgrades working with stakeholders

    to ensure projects are on schedule and completed on time;

  • Provide support, training and assist customer with various Odoo needs.

  • Create and provide reports as required;

  • Create, update and maintain business forms;

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma/degree or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training and/or job experience (minimum 3 years), AND

  • 2 years related job experience in information technology systems

  • IT system implementation project management experience

Must Have

  • Functional experience and knowledge in Odoo 1 year;

  • IT Systems Implementation experience;

  • Experience in complex Odoo troubleshooting;

  • Experience with manufacturing, warehouse operations and related processes; 

  • Strong communication skills (English verbal and written), including the ability to work with people from all departments in a company who have varying degrees of computer / technology knowledge;

  • Excellent analytical, planning, mapping, and organization skills, combined with client interaction, and being able to make in-the-moment decisions based on new information;

  • Able to perform a variety of complicated tasks with limited direction;

  • Willingness to offer ideas and direction while functioning as an integral team member;

Nice To Have:

  • Ecommerce experience;

  • Knowledge of Python Programming;

  • IT systems/networking experience and troubleshooting;

  • French language;
